John Paul's hairdressing career started in 1976 at Gerald's Salon in Franklin Village, Michigan.  Four years later, he pursued, owned, and operated John Paul & Company,as well a John Paul's Metro Salons. He has studied under Horst of Aveda, John English, Paul Mitchell, and has been a member of the Color Congress, Intercoiffure International, and Americoif of Michigan.  John Paul has been a platform artist for Windsor Beauty Supply touring at the Toronto Hairshow; Tri Products in Long Beach, California; and Swartzkopf International. John Paul's chair-side manner and professional hair designs are currently demonstrated at Sola Salons in West Bloomfield, Michigan, specializing in the latest colour and cutting edge techniques.
